Annual Report on Activities of the Association of Radiographers of Nigeria (ARN) to ISRRT

I am honored to present the annual report of the Association of Radiographers of Nigeria (ARN) outlining our key activities and achievements throughout the year. As President, it has been an eventful and productive period for our association, marked by meaningful engagements and impactful initiatives.

Courtesy Visits:

In line with our commitment to fostering collaborations and partnerships, ARN undertook a series of courtesy visits to various stakeholders within the healthcare, energy and radiography sectors. These visits aimed to strengthen relationships, exchange knowledge, and advocate for the advancement of radiography practice in Nigeria. We engaged with governmental bodies, healthcare institutions, educational facilities, and allied health organizations. These interactions facilitated dialogue on best practices, regulatory frameworks, and the importance of ongoing professional development.

ISRRT Teachers Conference 2023:

The ISRRT Teachers Conference was held in F.C.T Abuja, Nigeria on 4th-5th September, 2023 which provided a valuable platform for ARN members to exchange insights and expertise on education and training in radiography. Our delegation actively participated in discussions and workshops, sharing experiences on innovative teaching methodologies, curriculum enhancements, and strategies to address emerging trends in the field. The conference enabled us to align our educational practices with global standards, ensuring our radiography programs remain dynamic and responsive to evolving healthcare needs.
