CURRENT POSITION
Officially Retired but doing some teaching to First Nation / Aboriginal peoples in Northern Canada  the Basic Radiological Technician Course through the Ontario Association of Medical Radiation Sciences and holding the honoured post of Regional Education Coordinator – Americas for the ISRRT. I currently also serve as Vice Chair to the Mohawk College of Applied Arts  and Sciences – McMaster University’s Radiation Sciences Degree-Diploma Program

QUALIFICATIONS
Started out as a Medical Radiation Technologist later getting a BA in Health Services Administration, a Masters in Teaching, and later a Doctorate in Business Administration.

POSITIONS HELD
My career both medical and military has provided me a series of positions I have held. I have been,in the medical radiation sciences field a Senior Supervisor of  the Emergency Department’s Trauma DI centre, a Radiology Manager, President of four (4) medical radiation sciences professional association ( Ontario Association of Medical Radiation Technologists; Canadian Association Of Medical Radiation Technologists;Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists Foundation and the Ontario Association of Medical Radiation Sciences). I have been a consultant for the Ontario Government regarding radiation safety fro the patient and the worker related to all facets of a DI facility including CT and MRI, as well as  Inter professional Education and Collaboration as well as the fast tracking of immigrants to Ontario  related to their qualifications and equivalent in Ontario. I was a primary player and champion for  the regulation of MRTs and Sonographer’s in Ontario.

In the Military I Commanded and Infantry Regiment and a Medical Field Ambulance Unit before retiring as the Deputy Commander of a Military District.
In the field of education I was a Professor at both the university and community college level. I have chaired two major Advisory Boards; General Art’s and Sciences and the Liberal Arts Health profile Program. I was also involved in Ontario’s “Tuning Project” where competencies were re-developed for  health care related education programs from Certificate to and including the Master’s Level

WORK EXPERIENCE
I started out as a general duty MRT then moving into the area of “special procedures” , then specializing in Trauma X-Ray, then CT when it was in its infancy.  I then specialized in Quality Assurance and Quality Control for DI facilities.   I then moved into the Management stream but continued to do research in the areas of Thermography, neurological pathology, cardiac investigation procedures, and magnification radiography.  Due to my experience within the medical radiation professional associations I moved into association management and worked as its Chief Staff Officer fro the now Ontario Association of Medical Radiations Sciences in the positions of Executive Director, then CEO, then President & CEO.

Graduated in 1997 with a Diploma from the then Federal School of Radiography, Yaba, Lagos. The school is now a department of Radiography in the University of Lagos, Nigeria. The desire to learn more and be relevant in training younger Radiographers led to further education.
Elizabeth gained a BSc from the Queen Margaret University in Scotland and MSc Medical Imaging from the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom. She is an Assistant Chief Radiographer with the National Orthopaedic Hospital as well as being a visiting lecturer to the Radiography Department of Bayero University, Kano. She has also served on several committees such as curriculum drafting, investigative as well as disciplinary committee.
Elizabeth is committed to the Association of Radiographers of Nigeria )ARN) in which she progressed through the ranks. She started out as a student member and volunteer during the annual conference to serving as Assistant Secretary to becoming the National Secretary in 2007. She is presently the Immediate Past Secretary and a Council member of thre ARN. The journey with the ISRRT began in 2006 as an Associate member, Council member in 2012 and elected Regional Co-ordinator for Professional Practice Africa in 2014.

Elizabeth is married to a Radiologist and blessed with four children.

Professional Lead for Diagnostic Radiography in the School of Health Sciences, Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, UK. Formerly Principal Lecturer at London South Bank University and diagnostic radiographer at Dundee Royal Infirmary.

I work in a multi-disciplinary environment alongside a range of allied health professional groups including Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Nursing. I am responsible for the management and development of radiography provision within the School which includes our business interaction strategy, through which we operate an X-ray facility providing imaging services to external organisations. I also participate in cross School activities related to inter-professional education opportunities.

I have extensive curriculum development experience and over 20 years have developed or contributed to the development of programmes at postgraduate, undergraduate and foundation level. I have also managed programmes at these levels and been an external examiner on a range of courses in the UK. On behalf of the UK College of Radiographers I have been involved in approval processes for radiography courses in a number of other countries, including Malaysia, Dubai and Pakistan. Between 2008 and 2010 I participated in development of the European Masters Programme in Medical Imaging (EMPIMI).

From 2000 to 2010 I sat on the UK Society and College of Radiographers Council, serving as its President in 2002-3. I Chaired the College’s approvals and accreditation board until 2011, and currently sit on the College Board of Trustees. I also act as an assessor for the College and undertake course approvals on its behalf. In 2007 I co-chaired the joint College of Radiographers and Royal College of Radiologists, joint review of guidance on radiographic skill mix titled ‘Team Working in Departments of Clinical Radiology’ and I am a reviewer for the journal Radiography.

My research interests are mainly in radiographic workforce development, including the support workforce, advanced and consultant practice. I am currently involved in a project examining the scope and implementation of advanced practice of radiographers in Scotland.

Dr. Yudthaphon Vichianin graduated from Mahidol University with the degree of Bachelor of Sciences (B.Sc.) in Radiological Technology in 1995. He pursued his study and received his Master of Sciences in Information Technology (MSIT) at Mahidol University in 2000. He was granted a Royal Thai Government Scholarship to continue his study and received his Master of Sciences in Information System (MSIS) from Hawai’i Pacific University in 2003 and a doctoral degree in Communication and Information Sciences from University of Hawai’i, Manoa in 2007.
Currently, Yudthaphon is a lecturer and the secretary of the Master of Sciences degree program in Radiological Technology at the Faculty of Medical Technology, Mahidol University in Bangkok, Thailand.
Yudthaphon’s has focused his professional expertises upon the intersection of ICTs, radiation technology, and education.  He is highly active in the Thai Society of Radiological Technologists (TSRT) giving numerous training classes in PACS and MIIA certification preparation. He also teaches at numbers of universities in Thailand as an invited lecturer.

James (Ho NamKoong) is one of the most international Korean Radiological Technologists organized EACRT (East Asia Conference of Radiological Technologists), IABSRT (International Accreditation Board of Specialized Radiological Technologists), ASF (Asia Supporting Fund for Asian Radiological Technologists) and 2016 ISRRT Seoul World Congress. And also, he is working for Seoul National University Hospital as a manager with specialized experiences written 15 scientific papers in X-ray, MRI, and PETMRI more than 25 years after trained University of Washington Hospital and now providing international students clinical training program in Seoul National University Hospital as a director of global team. He also dispatched United Arab Emirates to organize Sheikh Khalifa Specialty Hospital and finally got a JCIA within 2 years as a Radiology Department Manager and JCI Steering Team facilitator. As a board member of Korea National Heath Personnel Licensing Examination Board, he managed the national licensing system for radiological technologists for 6 years.

Chris is an advocate for the equitable and sustainable redistribution of knowledge and is passionate about the role of technology in education. Chris has addressed audiences including the ISRRT, the WHO, the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) Educational Symposium, the RAD-AID Conference on Radiology in Developing Countries, the Association of Educators in Imaging and Radiologic Sciences and numerous other organizations and societies. Chris has been published both domestically and internationally. As a Trustee of the World Radiography Educational Trust Foundation, he coordinates the work of Ambassadors in over fifteen countries. Chris works to empower medical professionals to pursue opportunities in international outreach as a member of the ASRT Foundations Community Outreach Review Committee and serves on the ASRT Practice Standards Council.

He is a member of the Cardiac Credentialing International Advisory Board, and the Editorial Boards of Cath Lab Digest and Everything Radiography. Chris is the Program Director of the School of Invasive Cardiovascular Technology at the Hoffman Heart and Vascular Institute of Connecticut, USA.
