Philips collaborates with International Society of Radiographers and Radiological Technologists to simplify access to healthcare education worldwide
Andover, Mass., USA and Cardiff, Wales, UK – Royal Philips Electronics (NYSE: PHG, AEX: PHI) and the International Society of Radiographers and Radiological Technologists (ISRRT) have co-operated together to provide a unique program to extend healthcare education in Europe, Asia and the South Pacific. The International Access to Learning (IAL) program builds on the success of Philips’ industry-leading learning services and realizes the mission of both organizations: to improve the quality of radiographic and radiation therapy practice globally through access to education, sharing of best practices and improved collaboration between clinicians.

As a first step, the project is being run in three diverse countries.
Each of these member associations have offered to participate and provide this wonderful opportunity to their members.
It is important to note that these free educational programs are only offered to country association/society members of a society that is a member of the ISRRT.
There is a wide variety of programming available which can aid in improved general knowledge of relevant technology as well as earning continuing education
credits for those countries which are requiring or encouraging on going education for their members.
A Certificate will be awarded upon successful completion of the programs or courses offered .
The award is a certificate of achievement and itemizes the number of instructional hours achieved.

Your country manager will provide you with a CEU Account ID or code to access courses located on the Philips Learning Center.
Once you have the code please review the demonstation of how to register on the Philips Learning Center and how to enter your code in the correct place to gain access to the courses.
Once you have finished viewing the demonstration, please click here http://www.theonlinelearningcenter.com in order to go to the Philips Learning Center and register for access to the courses.
The following steps should be followed when registering on the Philips Learning Center and entering your code:

Either log on to the Learning Center with an existing email / password or register as a new user.
If existing user go to 'My Account / My Profile' after login:
Click on #3 - CEU Accounts
Enter CEU Account ID or Site ID Here: XXXXXXXXX
Click on #6 - 'Save my information'
Click 'Finish'
If registering for the first time:
When you get to Step 3 of the registration process do as above:
Click on #3 - CEU Accounts
Enter CEU Account ID or Site ID Here: XXXXXXXXXX

After the CEU Account code is entered, choose any learning activity from the course catalog. Be sure to pick the ISRRT certificate before you put the course in your study area. The CEUs will be deducted automatically from the CEU account. Note that if the activity is free, the CEUs will not be deducted from your account. You can also get most of the activities on CD for an additional charge for the media and the shipping (CEUs are still deducted from the account). You can do this by using a credit card at checkout. The number of CEUs left in the account is always displayed on the learner's home page.
