Conference speakers contribute to improved healthcare in Tanzania

Conference organizers for the recent ISRRT World Congress/CAMRT AGC chose to make a contribution to a Gift of Hope in recognition of our speakers’ generous contribution of their time and expertise. Through a donation to Plan Canada in lieu of the traditional speaker gift, and thanks to the Plan’s matching funds program, we are pleased to say that the Congress/AGC has advanced healthcare in Tanzania with a gift of six motorcycle-powered ambulances in Tanzania. This project saves lives by bringing healthcare workers to isolated villages and it carries people from those villages to community health centres, where they can get the help they need to heal so they can get back to living their lives.
