"Service of Thanksgiving" for the life of Marion Frank held Friday 23rd September, 2011 at St. Marylebone Parish Church, London, UK

As CEO of the ISRRT I represented the organisation at the "Service of Thanksgiving" for the life of Marion Frank. The church was full and many old friends and colleagues were there.

Family members paid tribute to Marion and it was very moving. Richard Evans, CEO of the UK Society, also spoke.

The close connection between Marion and the ISRRT was highlighted throughout the Service and in particular how proud she was of being presented with the Dien Van Dijk Award in 2010.

Some of you may know that Marion was a twin and her sister also qualified in radiography but left the profession when she got married. Marion’s twin sadly died about three years ago.
