Report of meeting of Zimbabwe Radiographers in the UK

ZIMBABWE RADIOGRAPHERS GROUP
SUMMARY OF
The meeting was well attended and despite the late starting everyone enjoyed and contributed much.

Phillip Musiiwa welcomed the participants and chaired the meeting.
The main issues discussed from were:
1.Equipment and consumables.
The group decided that more communication with
2.Registration of the group as an organisation.
We need to set time and membership targets.
Meanwhile an aggressive membership drive is essential.
3.Fund raising for x-ray operator training in the provinces.
Members were informed of the present situation with the training programmes.
The cost of books, teaching aids and shipment is estimated at £800.00.
Several suggestions of how to raise funds were offered. The book committee will act on the recommendations.
Some participants are considering writing a technique manual suitable for the X-ray Operator working at a

The following gave reports of the working groups.
1.A.Maphosa on behalf of the book committee.
Booklists containing names of donors, cost/ estimated cost and destination of books were made available.
2. A Sagiya on website administration.
3. M Chikamba on finances.
